Chain Reaction ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you play Chain Reaction on our website (chain-reaction-game.com) or on Android.

• Account information: If you register, we collect your name and email address.
• Gameplay data: Scores, word chains, daily challenge results, achievements, win/loss records, and leaderboard rankings.
• Device identifiers: Guest players are identified by an anonymous device ID stored locally on your device. This ID is not linked to any personal information.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and basic usage analytics used solely for diagnosing errors and improving game performance.
• Crash logs and diagnostics: When the app crashes or hits an error, we record the error details, device model, OS version, and app version so we can fix the problem.
• Purchase information: If you buy an in-app item, Google Play processes the payment. We receive a purchase token and the item purchased to deliver it to your account. We never receive your card or payment details.
• Notification token: If you allow notifications, your device provides a push token that we store so we can send them. Turning notifications off stops them.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and maintain the Chain Reaction game service.
• Display leaderboards, daily challenge standings, and weekly competition results.
• Sync your progress across devices when you are signed in.
• Send optional notifications about daily challenges and in-game events (only with your consent).
• Diagnose technical issues and improve gameplay performance.
• Detect and prevent cheating, score manipulation, or abuse of multiplayer systems.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Advertising

On the website (chain-reaction-game.com): We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.

On Android: The Chain Reaction app uses Google AdMob to display interstitial ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage information to serve relevant ads, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of interest-based ads in your Android device settings under Google > Ads.

Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland: Players in these regions are shown a consent form, provided by Google, before personalized ads are served. You can accept, decline, or choose individual purposes, and you can change your choice later. If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads.

4. Third-Party Sign-In and Services

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google via OAuth. We do not receive your Google password. Your Google account data is used only to create and authenticate your Chain Reaction account.

We also use these service providers, which process data on our behalf:

• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, and Cloud Messaging): usage analytics, crash reports, performance measurements, and delivering push notifications.
• Google Play Billing: processing in-app purchases.
• Google AdMob and AdSense: serving ads, as described in section 3.

Their handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in across sessions. Google AdSense also sets third-party cookies for ad personalization. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect game functionality.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile page within the app. You may also follow the instructions on our account deletion page. Guest player device IDs are cleared when you clear your browser's local storage.

7. Children's Privacy

Chain Reaction is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
